Shiji Enhances Book&Pay Marketplace to Accelerate Connectivity Between Global Supply and Corporate Travel Demand in Greater China
Upgraded Book&Pay platform enables seamless connectivity, automated workflows, and cross-border settlement for global hospitality partners

China is the world’s largest outbound tourism market by expenditure and is projected to grow by 9% in the coming years, according to the WTTC, making it a critical market for global hospitality distribution strategies. Part of Horizon Distribution, Book&Pay is a transparent B2B marketplace that enables hotels, hotel groups, and travel distributors to seamlessly buy and sell booking services through a single integrated platform. Since launching in 2023, the platform has expanded to support more than 290,000 hotel properties globally and over 30 demand channels, including leading travel platforms such as Ctrip, Tongcheng, Meituan, and TravelSky.
Traditionally, hotels have faced complex negotiations, technical integrations, and separate commercial agreements when scaling distribution across multiple channels. Book&Pay simplifies this process by enabling suppliers to connect with demand partners at scale through one centralized marketplace, reducing operational complexity while expanding access to corporate travel demand in China.

Book&Pay enables suppliers to distribute hotel inventory, room availability, and rates through a single platform while eliminating the need for bilateral distribution agreements typically required for each supplier-channel connection. Suppliers can define a single rate across all distributors or customize rates for individual partners, including targeted rates for the China corporate travel segment.
The upgraded platform also supports real-time exchange of availability, rates, inventory, and reservations through Shiji Switch, while enabling faster channel activation and deactivation. In addition, Book&Pay automates booking workflows by connecting hotels directly with corporate travel platforms in China and routing reservations into hotel CRS environments, reducing manual work and improving operational accuracy.
To further simplify international business operations, Book&Pay supports cross-border settlement through virtual credit cards, ACH, and bank transfers while digitizing invoicing workflows to reduce administrative workload and manual errors.
Book&Pay continues to evolve as part of Shiji’s Horizon Distribution platform, supporting seamless connectivity between global hotel supply and corporate travel demand in Greater China while helping hospitality partners scale distribution more efficiently.
